Inspection Comments | RESPONDED TO COMPLAINT THAT CUSTOMER FOUND HAIR INSIDE A FRIED BREADED MUSHROOM. SPOKE WITH KIM WHO SPOKE WITH THE CUSTOMER ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. SHE DID OBSERVE SMALL HAIR IN THE MUSHROOM, BUT IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS BELOW THE BREADING. THE BREADED MUSHROOMS ARE PURCHASED BREADED AND FROZEN, WITH ONLY COOKING OCCURRING IN THE RESTAURANT. ALL EMPLOYEES ARE WEARING PROPER CLOTHING AND HAIR RESTRAINTS. IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. I INSPECTED SEVERAL BAGS OF FROZEN MUSHROOMS AND DID NOT SEE ANY HAIR. I ASKED THAT KIM CALL THE DISTRIBUTOR TO FILE A COMPLAINT SO THAT THE MANUFACTURER'S PROCESSES WILL BE REVIEWED. |
